Did You Know?

Did you know that LMHS has the only driving rehabilitation program between Naples and Sarasota? LMHS’ driving rehabilitation program is also the only one from Fort Myers to Miami.

The LMHS Driving Rehabilitation Program is located at the Lee Center for Rehabilitation & Wellness. Driving evaluations are two to three hours long and take a comprehensive look at an individual’s physical, cognitive, visual and perceptual abilities, as well as how those skills relate to the dynamic task of driving. Each client participates in a clinical and behind-the-wheel assessment.

A referral is needed to participate. This program also offers training in driving with adaptive equipment, such as adapted mirrors, left foot accelerator, steering devices or hand controls.
