Lee Memorial Health System
We provide current and
authoritative medical, nursing, allied health, and healthcare
management information, both printed and electronic resources,
to Lee Memorial Health System employees, clinical staff and to
the community, from our four locations.

It is the policy of Lee Memorial Health System (LMHS) to comply with Federal
copyright laws, state laws and regulations, licenses, and
contractual obligations that control the System's use of
copyrighted materials and intellectual property belonging to
others. The LMHS Medical Libraries will comply with the
Copyright Law (Title XVII U.S. Code, Chapter 1), including
Section 108, Reproduction by Libraries, and Section 107,
"Fair Use."
All Document
delivery requests and photocopying services are subject to
Copyright compliance. Library staff my refuse any request that
violates the Copyright law of LMHS Copyright Policy. Patrons
wishing to reproduce a protected work that does not meet the
Library Reproduction or Fair Use criteria must obtain
permission from the copyright
owner.

Reports - a growing collection of peer-reviewed cases of
unusual and rare conditions from the British Medical Association
available from August 20, 2009 to November 20th, 2009.
New
Databases:
CE Headquarters,
point-of-care education program, allows physicians to earn CEUs
for using Medical Library's online resources.
Statdx, the imaging
point-of-care, diagnostic clinical decision support system, is
now available to staff of LMHS.
Changes to the print and
electronic journal collections.
Video
programs from the Network for Continuing Medical Education (NCME)
are now
available online.

Staff of the
Lee Memorial Health System may now receive the current issues of
the New England Journal of Medicine and
other journals through e-mail at NO COST.
The
Natural Standard, the
evidence-based database of alternative therapies, herbs,
supplements and their interactions may be accessed from home
computers.
The
Natural Standard Newsletter,
may be e-mailed to LMHS staff free of charge.
