Medical
Library Limitations of Services
Physicians on
staff and employees of Lee Memorial Health System may request up
to 15 articles at a time. The library staff will photocopy
articles, which are available in LMHS library collection and
will obtain others via interlibrary loan system.
Physicians on
staff and LMHS employees are entitled to 5 interlibrary loans a
month at no cost, if the articles are related to patient care or
to a hospital project. If they are not or if the number of
interlibrary loan requests exceeds 5, the cost of obtaining
these articles will be passed to the library user at $15 per
article.
Local library
users not affiliated with Lee Memorial Health System may request
up to 3 articles at a time. Charges apply.
The Medical
Libraries at Lee Memorial Health System do not provide article
delivery services to out-of-area patrons. Please contact your
local library for this service.
