Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I receive multiple bills from LMHS?
There are different areas in the health system which send bills for their individual services. For example, the emergency room, outpatient services, inpatient services, physicians, wound care and home health all send their own bills. A patient who stays in the hospital will receive a statement from each physician involved in his or her care and a statement from the facility where he or she stayed.
