Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons Award: Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program 
The Lee Cancer Care program received a 3-year accreditation earning a perfect score with no recommendations or contingencies. This is the highest survey result a comprehensive cancer program can receive; only 27 percent of hospitals surveyed achieve this status. Surveyors told physicians and clinicians that Lee Cancer Care was among the finest community cancer centers they had ever surveyed.

Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center earned the Gold Seal of Approval for stroke care.

Lee Diabetes Care earned honors for being 1st hospital in Florida; 6th in nation for this award.
