The Lee Memorial Health

Southwest Florida and is continually working to educate local,
state, and federal authorities about the increasing financial
challenges associated with the growing number for uninsured
patients seeking treatment in our hospitals. We are providing
this section of our website as an information resource, as well
as, to provide information describing activities that have
occurred in our local marketplace.

Community leaders agree
with Lee Memorial's Self-Pay program.
A Self-Pay Task Force was created to explore LMHS billing
practices. In July 2004 the task force information was presented
and approved by the LMHS Committee of the Whole.
