Place is now open at the

Formerly known as Magic
Choices, Cookie’s Place is named in honor and memory of Cookie
Needle. Magic Choices was created in part
because of Cookie’s frustration
with finding products that helped the cancer patient look and
feel good while undergoing cancer treatment
The boutique’s featured product
is a first class line of wigs from Raquel Welch, Eva Gabor and
others. Boutique assistant, Lindy French, is available to assist
patients with wig fitting in a private setting and if not in
stock, a wig can be ordered. The boutique also carries healthy
snacks, sundry items like cough drops, over the counter
remedies, nail files, etc. A nice line of gifts and some
specialty greeting cards are also available.
The Boutique carries products
embellished with Swarvoski crystals (hats, reading glasses,
sunglasses, etc.)
The boutique doubles as an Oncology library for the reading
pleasure of families, patients and employees in the comfort of
easy chairs. Two internet ready computers and printers are
available for patients and families to do research, check their
email or find out about the latest news while at the Center
Other services for cancer patients will be offered very soon.
Current hours are Monday through Friday 10 am to 2 pm. We
expect to expand hours soon to include morning and afternoon
hours to better serve our clients.
Cookie’s Place is located on the first floor of the Regional
Cancer Center.
