Our boutique is the first of its
kind in Southwest Florida, and
one of only a few in the U.S. Magic Choices, part of The Cancer
Advocacy Center at Lee Cancer Care, with an
array of hard-to-find and innovative items designed to help you
deal with the aesthetic side effects of cancer treatment and
recovery. Our products help enhance health, self-esteem and
appearance, as well as uplift spirits and offer inspiration.
Our boutique is open to the public.
Magic Choices Boutique
was a vision of Cookie Needle. Cookie was diagnosed with
s tage IV breast cancer in 1997. As she was coming to terms
with her diagnosis, treatment and side effects of treatment, she
found that there weren't many resources to help people cope with
the devastating side effects of cancer treatment. Cookie
decided to use her training and experience as a board certified
esthetician and Hollywood make-up artist to help fellow patients
find the products they needed to help them through this cancer
journey.
Cookie Needle lost her
courageous battle in February 2006.
Wigs and
Accessories
The lightness and softness of our wigs protect the unexpected
sensitivity of your scalp because of chemotherapy or radiation
therapy. Choose a wig from our selection of HAIRUWEAR™
featuring Raquel Welch and Eva Gabor; and hairwear by Beverly
Johnson. A member of our boutique staff will help you
select a great style and color.
We also offer custom-designed
'lids' - hats and caps with hairpieces attached that match your
wig color. we even carry 24/7 styles that are so soft they
can be worn 24 hours a day, days a week. Physician
Endorsed hats are also available. These hats provide
90-99% UVA/UVB protection with panache.
We carry all the tools and
supplies you'll need to maintain your new wig -- shampoo,
styling spray, brushes and stands to properly store your wig.
