About Us

Fighting cancer is hard enough without having to undergo the stress and inconvenience of traveling out of the area for treatment. For the people of Southwest Florida, Lee Memorial Health System's Regional Cancer Center provides comprehensive care that is convenient, accessible and personalized.

Opened in 2008, Regional Cancer Center is a multidisciplinary center and collectively one of the largest cancer programs in the state of Florida. It draws its strength from an unprecedented collaboration among Lee Memorial Health System, 21st Century Oncology (radiation oncology), Florida Cancer Specialists (medical oncology) and Florida Gynecologic Oncology.

Regional Cancer Center offers a coordinated team approach tailored to the individual needs of each patient. And with its proximity to the othe other facilities of Lee Meemorial Health System, patients experience a seamless transition of care if they need other services and/or specialists.

Designed to be more than a medical facility, Regional Cancer Center is a healing center providing a host of support services, such as nutritional and genetic couseling, a nurse navigator program, peer support groups, yoga, rehabilitation and palliative care. Here, patients and their families will find everything they need for their cancer journey toward physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

Patients have access to new clinical protocols and treatments and the expertise of renowned cancer researchers, providing an additional network of nationally and internationally recognized specialists who will consult with patients while they continue their care at home in Southwest Florida.
