Children are life’s most precious gifts. From the loving eyes of an
infant, to the excited, wobbly first steps of a toddler… from
adolescent development to the scrapes and bruises of the teen-age
years, children require specialized healthcare. Providing that care
with the finest health services in a supportive and compassionate
setting is at the heart of everything we do at The Children’s
Hospital of Southwest Florida.
The Children's Hospital Administration
welcomes you.
Family-Centered Care
We understand that the health of child is an emotional family
matter. A healthy child is a parent’s greatest treasure. When health
challenges arise that may require hospitalization, or
life-threatening conditions develop that call for extended
treatment, it can be a very stressful and frightening experience for
infants, young children, adolescents and their families.
A key component of our delivery of child healthcare services is that
the involvement of parents, family members and friends serve to
enhance the healing process. That’s why we take a “whole family”
approach to our treatment services.
A Regional Resource
The only comprehensive child healthcare facility between Tampa and
Miami, The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida provides vital
