It gives us great pleasure to be able to share with you the great
things going on at the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. In
partnership with our community and physicians, we are dedicated to
developing the best, specialized pediatric care right here, close to
home. The type and scope of that care will be based upon the needs
of our families in the growing population of children and adolescents in
the five counties that make up Southwest Florida.
On behalf of the dedicated physicians, and staff, we want to welcome
you to our hospital. Rest assured we take our mission very
seriously! We work continuously to improve our performance and
patient outcomes and safety, by participating in the National
Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions,
Association of Florida Children’s Hospitals, the Institute for
Healthcare Improvement and the 100,000 Lives project.
We provide family-centered care including child-life workers, an
onsite school teacher, music and pet therapies, to name just a few
of our special services. We are partnering with our communities on a
number of projects, including drowning prevention, child abuse and
injury prevention, and car seat safety.
We work with our community and physicians to bring new services as
they become needed in our area. In addition, we work closely with
our state and federal legislators to improve access to care for our
most vulnerable populations, our uninsured and underinsured infants
and children.
As The Children’s Hospital of Southwest
Florida, it is our honor and privilege to represent the many
dedicated healthcare providers who have devoted their careers to
care for our infants and children.
