| Walk-in medical centers, such as
Lee Convenient Care, are designed to provide
quality, cost-efficient care in a short time frame for children and
adults requiring prompt and/or minor emergency care. An appointment
or referral is not required. Walk-in centers are open during the day
and also have extended evening and weekend hours.
The full-time staff comprises physicians, registered nurses,
technicians and support personnel. Lab and x-ray services are
available on-site.
Walk-in care is appropriate when:
- your primary care doctor is unavailable
- you do not have a regular doctor
- you have an illness or injury that is not life-threatening and
needs prompt care
- you have routine health issues
