| "At about 2:30 a.m.,
I was going to call a cab for a ride to our home in Cape Coral,
which would have cost me about $50. I'm sure he was exhausted after
working a full shift in the ER, but he still took an extra hour of
his time to drive all the way to my house in Cape Coral and then all
the way back to his house in Fort Myers. I just thought he was such
a darling young man for going so far out of his way to help me. If I
live to be 100, I'll never forget his thoughtfulness," says
Betty Cecich, who was given a ride home from HealthPark Medical
Center by Dr. Ed Salko Jr., an Emergency Department physician, after
she went to the hospital with her husband, who had congestive heart
failure.
