The largest hospital expansion to date in Lee
County has recently been completed at HealthPark Medical Center (HPMC) to make one
of the best hospitals in the United States even better. Previously, HPMC
had 238 beds; the new total is 360, with additional beds
in pediatrics, intensive care and medical/surgical care. The
expanded, state-of-the-art hospital incorporates advanced
technology, especially in children's care and cardiac care. HealthPark Medical Center has been recognized as one of the

Hospitals for Cardiology and its Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Additionally, it provides 24-hour emergency care, a full range of
