CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES

Many cardiovascular diagnostic services that were previously
offered only at the hospital are now available at the Outpatient
Center. In addition to EKG's and Holter Monitors, this new
facility features leading edge echocardiography and vascular
ultrasound equipment and a new stress lab.
RADIOLOGY - LMR IMAGING

A wide range of services is available at this location
including: Spiral Computed Tomography (CTA), Ultrasound (Color
Doppler/Carotids/Vascular), Nuclear Medicine, Radiography and
Flouroscopy. Additional off-site diagnostics include Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA),
Positron Emission Topography (Pet), and Bone Densitometry (DEXA).
Free transportation is available for MRI patients and certain
other procedures as needed.
REHABILITATION SERVICES

Rehabilitation Services are provided to patients who have
functional limitations, disabilities, pain or changes in
physical function due to injury, disease or surgery. Following
an initial therapy assessment, ongoing services are provided by
licensed occupational, physical, and/or speech therapists.
LAB SERVICES

Primarily a walk-in lab, this service requires a physician
prescription but no appointment for most testing. However,
patients needing a glucose tolerance test or a sweat chloride
test must call in advance for an appointment. Tests which
require fasting include lipid profiles, fasting blood sugars and
triglycerides. Patient-collected specimens may also be dropped
off at this location.
BREAST HEALTH CENTER

The Breast Health Center provides mammography screening to
patients who have no known problems and no history of breast cancer
during the past five years. Radiologist interpretation of the
screening results is assisted by ImageChecker, and FDA-approved
Computer Aided Detection system, which alerts the radiologist to
any areas of concern on the mammogram. Bone Densitometry (DEXA)
testing is also available at the Center.
PULMONARY FUNCTION

Pulmonary function tests include spirometry, lung volumes,
lung diffusion, arterial blood gases, whole body plethysmography,
oximetry, six-minute walks and closing volumes.
PAIN MANAGEMENT CENTER

This pain management program treats patients experiencing
chronic pain following surgery or injury or due to a
neurological or muscular problem. Some examples of chronic pain
include: back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, whiplash,
myofascial pain, headache pain, post surgical pain, cancer pain,
peripheral neuropathies, neuroma pain, and phantom limb pain.
Our pain management program offers a full variety of services
including evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care provided by
physicians and nurses with specialized training.
THE CONCH CAFÉ
A favorite of patients, visitors and staff alike, the Conch
Café is a 'grab and go' deli featuring
Boars Head subs, specialty entrée salads, bagels, donuts,
pastries and daily low carb special plates. Traditional snacks,
soup and chili round out the fare. Starbucks coffee is featured
along with assorted juices, sodas and beverages.
