The Outpatient Center at
Plantation opened in January 2009 with a multitude of
services in one state-of-the-art location. The Outpatient Center
is in an easily accessible location on Plantation road between
Six Mile Cypress and Metro parkways.
The Outpatient Center at
Plantation offers patients and family members a range of
services, such as a neurodiagnostics lab, where trained
technologists perform physician-ordered tests to record and
study the electrical activity of the brain and nervous system to
detect and diagnose disorders. Tests include
electroencephalograms (EEG), ambulatory EEG, video EEG
monitoring, brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER), visual
evoked response (VER) and somatosensory evoked response (SSEP).
There is also an outpatient
lab, home care services and offices for our Lee Physician
specialists.
The Sleep Disorders Center
at the Outpatient Center is designed for the diagnosis,
monitoring and treatment of sleep-related disorders. The
experienced staff at the Sleep Disorders Center offers
treatments for adults suffering from sleep disorders, including
sleep apnea, insomnia, excessive snoring and more.
