Ryan Flaig and Debra Coss

"When Ryan started to regain some use of his left hand, several of the staff at The Rehab Hospital went out of their way to learn some sign language, so they could understand him better. Ryan said it was very hard for him to feel so dependent on others for his care while he was in the hospital, and I think the staff's extra efforts to communicate really helped him," says Debra Coss, whose son, Ryan Flaig, who is hearing impaired, spent six weeks at The Rehabilitation Hospital after a vehicle rollover accident.
