Outpatient Center at the Sanctuary
March 21, 2009 |
Nestled just off of I-75 and Colonial Boulevard lies a new outpatient center, about
a month away from opening. Boxes line the lobby as the new Outpatient Center at
the Sanctuary unloads furniture and equipment is unpacked.
The center consists of three separate floors. One designed for diagnostics testing,
the second for lab and rehabilitation clinics, and the top floor will be offices
for more than 15 physicians.
David Cato is the System Director, “Healthcare is moving from the continuum inpatient
to a lot more procedures outpatient. I think in addition to the state of the art
equipment and latest technology, you are offering convenience and customer service.”
Forty-two separate exam rooms are laid out throughout the outpatient center to accommodate
various health needs for patients all over Southwest Florida. Cato adds, “This center
is positioned where patients east, south, north, and even the west are going to
be able to easily access the most state of the art technology in healthcare.”
The Outpatient Center at the Sanctuary plans to open sometime in mid-April, but
the public can get a sneak peek on Sunday, March 22nd from noon until 2:30 pm. Plans
are also in the works for an ambulatory surgery center that would also be located
at the outpatient center.
