Exercise Benefits

Pimples, blackheads, and other skin blemishes can have some people dashing to the
drug store for over-the-counter medication, but putting on those walking shoes may
actually help.
“There’s a lot of really good benefits of exercise,” explains Exercise Specialist,
Heather Brown with the Wellness Center of Cape Coral. Exercise has been known to
be a natural skin cleanser and not only that, Brown adds, “it can actually help
improve your brain function by increasing your endorphins in your brain.” Just 30
minutes a day can also help improve your mood and help you sleep easier. “It can
help you feel not depressed and will help you sleep better at night,” says Brown.
Brown works with people of all ages and all kinds of different medical histories
at the Wellness Center. She says the benefits of exercise are endless. “It can help
you lose weight, reduce high blood pressure, hypertension, any kind of obesity related
things that can lower your body weight.”
Proving that a daily dose of exercise can do the body good both inside and out.
