Health Information


What to Bring

As a Team "A" member, what should I bring with me to the hospital?

You should bring the following:

  • Lee Memorial Health System identification badge

  • Sheets, pillow, blanket

  • Cot, air mattress, or sleeping bag

  • Change of clothes for 3 to 5 days

  • Personal hygiene items and a towel

  • Medication

  • Snacks (regular meals are served in the cafeterias)

  • Flashlight and spare batteries

  • Portable TV or radio and spare batteries

  • Money (banks may be closed for several days after a storm)

  • Full tank of gas in your car

Do NOT bring with you:

  • Large amounts of bottled water (this will be available)

  • Anything perishable

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Open flame (Sterno, candles, etc.)

  • Weapons

  • Electrical appliances

If you have pets, they must be registered in advance with the Pet Shelter Committee. When you report to the hospital, drop off your pet at the designated shelter along with your pet shelter permit (sent to you by Human Resources) and all necessary supplies before checking in.
