| Dr. Rebsamen has responsibility for strategic
planning for the System, interfacing with service line and corporate
support areas to assure effective coordination of ongoing planning
and efficient budgeting.
Leadership Responsibilities
He also has responsibility for overall operations in the
areas of employed physicians, Rehabilitation Services, Home Health,
HealthPark Care Center skilled nursing facility, The
Rehabilitation Hospital, Therapies and The Wellness Centers.
Additionally, Dr. Rebsamen has responsibility for the promotion,
coordination, growth and long range planning of Outpatient Services
throughout the System.
Professional Experience
Before joining LMHS in 1997, Dr. Rebsamen was President and
Chairman of the Board of Medical Care Associates of Tulsa, Inc., a
44-physician multispecialty medical group, which he founded in 1982.
Included in his responsibilities were development and long range
planning for the group, physician recruitment and management and HMO
negotiations.
Concurrently, he served as Medical Director for the PruCare Group
Model HMO in Tulsa where he was responsible for development of
utilization review, quality assurance, member grievance, peer review
and compensation programs.
His clinical experience spans nearly 20 years in private
practice, with two years as Chief, Internal Medicine Section,
Hillcrest Medical Center in Oklahoma.
Education
Dr. Rebsamen earned his medical degree and a Bachelor’s of
Science degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed his
residency in internal medicine at the Tulsa Medical Education
Foundation.
He has completed over 100 hours of post graduate courses in
medical administration through the American College of Physician
Executives.
