Chief Administrative Officer for The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida
Dan Fink is the Chief Administrative Officer for Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. He joined Lee Memorial Health System in January 2012.
As CAO, Dan is responsible for representing the health system through community representation and selected activities, establishing oneself in a leadership role, serving as the champion of the hospital, becoming part of the fabric of—and being actively involved in—the facility and the community, further growing the partnership between the hospital and the community, functioning as a strong advocate for the growth and development of the hospital, and representing and serving as an intermediary between the hospital to the system executive and governing bodies.
Dan brings 28 years of experience in various areas of areas of health care. He began his career with Methodist Hospitals of Dallas as the Vice President of Planning, Marketing and Public Relations. He spent 15 years with the Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, Texas. His titles included Vice President of Professional Services for Cook Children's Medical Center; Chief Operating Officer of the Cook Children's Physician Network; and Senior Vice President of Revenue Management and President of Cook Children's Health Plan. Most recently, Dan served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Ind.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health in Health Systems Management, both from Tulane University in New Orleans, La. He also is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is Certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
