Kristine Fay
Chief Administrative Officer, Lee Physician Group
Kristine Fay joined Lee Memorial Health System in September 2012 as the chief administrative officer for the Lee Physician Group.
Leadership Responsibilities
Kris serves as the chief administrative officer for Lee Physician Group and is responsible for the overall operations and growth of the employed physician group, comprised of more than 300 providers. Her duties include overseeing and directing the group’s staffing; achieving budget projections and productivity goals; overseeing the group’s clinical and support functions; promoting clinical improvements, and achieving goals for physician, patient and employee satisfaction and engagement.
Kris works closely with physician and system leaders to develop and implement strategies which support the growth and effectiveness of the group. She has extensive experience in physician recruitment, operational policy development and workflow re-engineering.
Professional Experience
Prior to taking her current position, Kris worked as the chief operating officer for Bon Secours Medical Group in Richmond, Va. She also worked as the chief operating officer for Providence Physician Services in Spokane, Wash. and as the director of physician services at Concord Hospital, Concord, N.H.
Education
Kris earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H.
Memberships/Community Involvement
Kris is certified by American College of Medical Practice Executives. She is a member of the National Medical Group Management Association and is a supporter of the American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” campaign
Kris and her husband, Anthony, live in Fort Myers.
