Clinical Care

As a Pediatric hematologist/oncologist, Dr. Alisanski cares for children, adolescents, and young adultswith malignancies and disorders of the blood. Dr. Alisanski specializes in treating cancer, blood disorders, bone marrow failure, and congenital immune deficiencies.

Education & Training

Dr. Alisanski earned her medical degree from State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y. in 2000. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron in Akron, Ohio in 2003.

Focused on pediatric hematology and oncology medicine, as well as pediatric palliative care, Dr. Alisanski completed a fellowship in pediatric palliative care at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron in Akron, Ohio. and later, a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She also completed her Master of Science in clinical investigation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn.

Dr. Alisanski is board certified in pediatrics, hospice and palliative care medicine, and hematology and oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Lee Memorial Health System, Dr. Alisanski was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Virginia Health System.
