What does a
multidisciplinary approach mean?
A multidisciplinary approach means that each neurosurgeon
specializes in a particular condition and/or treatment and then
collaborates with other physicians who specialize in different,
complementary areas in the neurosciences when caring for patients.
Because they are able to focus on a particular type of treatment or
condition, they develop an acute understanding of the complexities
involved. Because the patients are treated by a team of physicians
with such extensive experience, they receive the best all-around
care possible. The disciplines, or specialties, of LMHS neuroscience
physicians include the following:
-
