Lee Memorial Health System physicians and allied healthcare
professionals
Purpose: The Stroke and Neurovascular Care Journal Club
strives to introduce pertinent clinical and research data as it
applies to the care of patients within the broad spectrum of
neurovascular diseases and disorders and especially those
patients being evaluated for advanced care of their ischemic
stroke syndromes
Educational Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Discuss
neurovascular diseases and disorders and the advancement of
stroke and neurovascular care for our patients
Identify evidence-based studies in the field of stroke and
neurovascular care
Describe how clinical research paradigms as well as cutting-edge
technologies are being applied in the field of stroke and
neurovascular care
Discuss information that will enhance critical thinking skills
Desired Outcomes: To provide evidence-based
guidelines to advance stroke and neurovascular care to a more
comprehensive level-of-care
Format: Meetings with a case-conference format
Frequency of meetings: As scheduled
Place: Various LMHS locations
