The Lee Memorial Health
System's Patient Care Division focuses on Nursing Excellence. It
is actualized in every patient encounter. The System's five
goals: service, quality, people, community and finance, provide
a foundation for this effort. As a division, we strive to
provide the highest level of service to our patients. Quality is
inherent in everything we do and we recognize our ability to
provide the highest level of service is dependent upon our
staff. As a result we are committed to being the employer of
choice for all staff while maintaining financial health.
Our goals include
continuance of being the employee of choice for nurses,
retention of our highly skilled staff, staff nurse led Clinical
and Research Practice Councils, and the incorporation of
evidence based nursing practice.
Nurses within the system
have the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of practice
settings. Our Internships
support a nurses desire to move among specialties. Nurses will
tell you that nurses have the opportunity at the Lee Memorial
Health System to enhance their partnerships and collaboration
with all members of the health care team.
