Crimson Continuum of Care...What
is it?
Crimson is a web-based program
that showcases inpatient severity-adjusted data that includes case specific data
(ALOS, severity index, mortality, complication rates, etc) for physicians and compares
like cases between peers, our own health system and other health systems. It is
derived from coded data, core measure data, and charge data. This data has been
and is currently available to Medicare and other insurance providers.
We
are currently in the process of verifying our data and piloting the program. We
will have on site training
beginning soon.
