May Tips of the Month: ABCs of Bicycle
RidingOnce your
helmet is securely in place it is time to check the bicycle
ABCs.
A = AIR in
tires. Make sure tires are properly inflated. Make sure there
are no sharp metal objects on the wheel rim which could cause a
flat tire.
B =
Brakes Check to make sure brakes are in
proper working order. Read your owners manual. Have a bicycle
shop help to adjust your brakes.
C =
Chain Check to make sure the chain is in
place and in good working order. Check your owners manual for
proper chain maintenance.
