- Pre and post-operative visits/family waiting room support
- Crisis intervention, for example, Code Blue and ED’s (family
support)
- Crises involving patients’ other family members; e.g., death
of a family member/close friend, significant other hospitalized at
the same time
- Crisis intervention for employees and volunteers
