Welcome to our wound care program. Our professional staff is
well trained to provide a specialized, comprehensive course of
therapy to assist in healing problem wounds. During your
course of therapy you will remain under the care of you
regular physician and we will coordinate our activities with
him/her to assure continuity of all your medical services.
Statistics
At any given time, almost 5,000,000 Americans suffer from
chronic non-healing wounds. Dealing with problem wounds is
frustrating and often time's people have suffered for years
with their wounds. There are many different kinds of wounds
including diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, and wounds
resulting from radiation treatment for cancer, traumatic
wounds and ulcers caused by circulation problems. Every person
has individual needs and may respond differently to different
kinds of treatment. It can be very frustrating, costly, and
time consuming to heal these wounds. To maximize the potential
for healing, we follow treatment protocols specifically
designed to treat each kind of wound. We utilize the most up
to date approaches to wound healing and remain current in new
scientific advances in wound care.
Staffing The
members of our team are made up of wound care specialist from
a variety of clinical backgrounds. Our program is designed to
compliment your individual needs and the treatment you are
already receiving from your primary care physician.

Treatment
Your wound treatment program is individualized to meet your
unique needs. Upon referral, you will undergo a thorough
diagnostic examination to identify the type of wound you have
and the underlying events which may be causing the wound to
resist healing. After this determination, a program
specifically designed to your needs will be initiated based on
the most effective treatment options. A multi-specialty
approach will be utilized to provide the maximum benefit to
you and your wound. Our staff utilizes a number of diagnostic

you will make scheduled visits for wound care and

between visits, as well as, how to protect your wound from
further injury or repeated injury once healed. The staff is

questions you may have regarding your treatment. It is very
important to remember that You are the most important
