Volunteer Opportunities

Many volunteer service areas are available within the Lee Memorial Health System. The goal of the Volunteer Resources Department is to match you with a service area based on your skills, experience and desires. Several volunteers work one four-hour shift per week, while others may work two to three shifts per week. Our health system offers volunteer opportunities that encompass patient contact and non-patient contact.

Also, for those who would like to serve the community in a different capacity many volunteer opportunities exist within the organization of the Auxiliary. You could serve on a committee for scholarships, fund raising, community outreach or publicity. For those unable to serve at one of our hospitals, many volunteers choose to work from the home by serving on a telephone committee or knitting and crocheting hats for our newborns.

Volunteering is a gift to the community and the rewards are profound. For more information, click here or call (239) 334-5388 for Lee Memorial Hospital, (239) 432-3055 for HealthPark Medical Center, (239) 574-0206 for Cape Coral Hospital or (239) 939-8636 for Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center or Gulf Coast Hospital.
